Real-time cargo and ballast tank monitoring
The Honeywell CargoBoss Tank Gauging Software provides operators with a clear, centralized view of critical tank data across cargo, ballast and service tanks.
It is designed to collect and display parameters such as level, ullage, pressure, temperature, corrected volume, mass and ballast level in real time. The system can also incorporate vessel information such as trim, heel and GPS data, helping crews maintain an accurate overview of tank conditions during loading, discharge and voyage operations.
CargoBoss runs on Microsoft Windows and can be used from one or more workstations. Tank information is presented through dedicated graphical displays, making it easier for operators to monitor multiple tanks and identify changing conditions quickly.
Integrated with marine tank gauging systems
CargoBoss receives tank data through the Marine Communication Interface Unit (CIU) and can communicate with other ship systems using Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP.
This allows tank information to be shared with systems such as the load computer and vessel monitoring infrastructure, supporting a more integrated approach to cargo and ballast management.
An optional remote communication setup can also transfer selected data, including GPS position and fuel consumption information, to a remote location for use by vessel owners, operators or charterers.
